“I had finally decided to sell my 1964 1/2. My dad bought brand new from the first west coast shipment. He drove it for a few years and then gave it to me. I absolutely loved that car. As time went on it needed some work that I couldn’t afford. Just last week a friend e-mailed me about seeing Mr. Manos on TV. I sent Mr. Manos an e-mail and not even 60 seconds later he called me! I was very surprised and very happy. We talked about the car and that he wanted to buy it. The next day we spoke again, settled on a price that was very fair and by 7pm the same day my beloved car was gone. Other than be sentimental, it was the easiest thing I have ever done. When employee Dave came to pick up the car, he couldn’t have been any nicer and didn’t laugh at me when I kissed the car good-bye with a cashiers check in my hand.”
