Produced from 1956 to 1961, the AC Aceca Bristol was the second generation of the Aceca cars. The new Bristol engine that replaced the AC units fitted on the early models, gave the new model its name. The new engine was a 2-liter, 6-cylinder engine with 3 downdraught carburetors. The unit was linked to a smooth four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. The Aceca was very light, using fiberglass and aluminum for the construction and based on the same simple tubular chassis than its predecessor.
