A straight-six, 3.7-liter engine with two SU carburetors powered the Bentley 3.5 Litre and was equipped with a sporty camshaft and a cross flow cylinder head. The car could reach a top speed of 90 mph according to the factory, thanks to an output of 110 hp. A four-speed manual gearbox with synchromesh on the 3rd and 4th gears was used for transmission. Brakes were servo-assisted all around and suspension was 4-wheel leaf spring.
