Selling A 1964 Ferrari 275
Reveled at the Paris Auto Show in 1964, the Ferrari 275 took over after the successful Ferrari 250 series. The same Colombo 2-cam, V12 3.3-Liter engine was mounted on the 1964 Ferrari 275, with a different layout. For the first time on road Ferraris, the 275 GTB featured an independent rear suspension system with a rear-mounted transaxle. A 275 GTS Convertible model with a different body style was available alongside the Coupe model, named GTB. Typically, the GTB models produced 280hp while the Spyder models boasted 260hp. However, a 300hp six carburetor tune was made available for both models, making the 1964 Ferrari 275, and other model-years, one of the most enjoyable and powerful 2-seater cars of its era. The standard 275 GTB Coupe was built by Scaglietti with 3 or 6 Weber twin-choke carburetors depending on the models, and special examples used an aluminum body instead of the standard steel body. Between 1964 and 1966, Pininfarina made 200 examples of a Ferrari 275 GTS Roadster with different bodywork for the American market. The Alex Manos team is always looking for classic Ferrari models of all types to add to their growing inventory. Connect with them today to discuss your particular model.
