The Ferrari 275 was produced from 1964 to 1968, in a Coupe trim called GTB, as well as in a Convertible trim named GTS. Several limited-edition models were released and many updates were made throughout the production run. The standard models were equipped with a 3.3-Liter V12 engine featuring 4 cams (whereas models prior 1966 only had 2). The base model allowed 280hp, while the Convertible produced 260hp, and both cars were eligible for a 300hp upgrade. Interestingly, Ferrari decided to manufacture 12 special lightweight 275 GTB/C cars (“C” for Competizione) for the 1966 season. Those special examples were built during the transition between the end of the two-cam production run and the beginning of the four-cam cars. Although the design looks similar to the road 275 GTB, the assembly of body panels and parts underneath was completely different.
