Buying or Selling a Ferrari Dino?

Ferrari Dino
Ferrari Dino

The Dino series was its own marque of rear-drive, mid-engine sports cars made by Ferrari from 1968 to 1976. The Ferrari brand was only used for the premium V12 and flat 12 models until 1976. The designation of each Dino model is based on the Ferrari race car name system, using the displacement and cylinder count: the two first numbers represent the size of the engine in deciliters and the third digit stands for the number of cylinders. Boasting a 2.0-L V6 engine, the first Dino was therefore called the Dino 206 GT. The Ferrari Dino 246 GT and GTS (S for Spyder) were the second generation of Dino, of which production started in 1969. Those improved models offered more power thanks to a new 2.4-L engine, and the body was now made of steel instead of aluminum as a cost savings measure. The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 took over in 1973 and was the last model of Dino cars and also Ferrari’s first V8 production automobile. The 308 GT4 was first manufactured under the Dino badge until 1976, and under the Ferrari badge until April 1980.
