Buying or Selling a 1964 Sunbeam Tiger?
The Sunbeam Tiger was a high-performance sports car introduced in 1964 and produced until 1967. The body of the Tiger was partly designed by Carroll Shelby with a 2-door roadster slick and refined layout. The 1964 Sunbeam Tiger was powered by the same 4-cylinder V8 engine used in the AC Cobra with a capacity of 4.3 liters and a power output of 164 hp. 60 mph could be reached from still in 9.5 seconds. The live rear axle and the four-speed gearbox were provided by Ford while the chassis came from the Sunbeam Alpine and was revised by Shelby introducing a stiffer suspension and a new rack and pinion steering. Disc brakes were used in the front and drums in the rear. The 1964 Sunbeam Tiger was comfortable with good handling and road holding.
