…Selling Your Amphicar?

It was great working with the team on the sale of our car. Valerie was especially helpful, and I appreciated the great communication throughout the process.

I sold my elderly father’s 1991 Morgan 4-4. He recently went into a nursing home with dementia and I had to sell the car that he had for nearly 30 years and had custom built.

I needed to sell it quick as I was working on cleaning out my parents house and didn’t feel like dealing with bring a trailer, so I googled Morgan buyers and this site came up. I emailed the photos into Alex and he called me within an hour or so. I called him back and once I found the title he wired me the money. He has a couple people in the office that I worked with, one to handle the paperwork & one to arrange logistics of transport. They sent a semi with an elevator on the back to pick it up.

The most difficult part of the whole process was figuring out how to fuel it, since it runs on propane, and then getting the manual transmission into reverse. That was the tricky part.

Alex responded to the sale of my Mercedes.

Forget Bring a Trailer!

I reached out to Alex to tell him about a 1966 Ferrari project we had here. He was very interested in the car and making sure the whole process was smooth. He is a joy to deal with. We build high end cars for some great clients, and Alex will be in our “circle” for helping with future dealings!

Classic example of an organization that says what they’re going to do, and then does what they said. From the purchasing manager all the way through to the trucking company and everyone in between. They made a fair offer, considering they too, have to make a profit at the end.
