After accepting your offer of $5,500 for my 1965 Mercedes 300SE Coupe, I checked the internet, and found that the LOWEST price for the same model was $18,000, and pictures of the showed it was in much worse shape than mine. I talked to my local junk yard, and he said he would have given me 15,000 for it. I can only blame myself for being in a hurry, and accepting such a LOWBALL amount. But I would NEVER recommend this car dealer! He asked for a recommendation from me to bait other suckers, instead I am giving this honest evaluation, which I am sure he will not use. But there are other sites that he cannot control, where I will post this evaluation. After reading this, maybe he will realise his “mistake” and at least send me another $4500. At this price he would have still bought the car at a “steal” price.
