If you wanted a car that was built for speed and performance, the SS or Z/28 package was your best bet. These Camaros came with bigger, V8 engines. They were built for people who enjoy racing or modifying muscle cars. Chevrolet also created an RS package that was available for all Camaro versions. This package didn’t affect the performance of the car, but it did change the exterior to give the Camaro a more menacing look.
