Buying or Selling a Dino 246 GT?
With the introduction of the Dino cars in 1967, Ferrari entered a new era of affordable exotic sports cars to compete with competitors like the Porsche 911 of the era. They were the first Ferraris to use the V-6 engine, which had been used only on racing cars until then.
Selling Your Ferrari?
Let’s Talk!
The 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT was a revised version of the first Dino car, the Ferrari Dino 206 GT. Although it shared the attractive Pininfarina-designed body of the first model, the Dino 246 GT replaced the 160 hp, 2.0L all-aluminum engine with the 175 hp, 2.4L FIAT Dino cast-iron V6 engine, in order to match the power of competitor models.
The second version of the affordable Dino sports cars to hit the road, the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is a 2-door, rear-wheel drive coupe that made its mark as one of the most affordable sports cars of the time. Produced from 1969 until 1974, only 2,295 of these entirely hand-built vehicles were made. Of these, 357 units belong to the Series I and were made until the summer of 1970, using the same center-bold wheels as the 206 GT. If you’re the current owner of one of those special edition, or any type of 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, the Alex Manos team is interested and will make you a top dollar offer should your car fit their collection. “From the initial contact Alex indicated he was a serious buyer of my cars and I indicated that I was a serious seller, obviously at the right price. He was very diligent in following up and confirmed to me that he was indeed serious about buying my 1962 Twin Grill Porsche Roadster and 1972 Dino 246 GT. We arranged a meeting, he was on time, and after a thorough inspection of the cars to validate that what I had represented to him was true, we agreed a price and the deal was done. We promptly went to the bank, the funds were transferred to me and the cars were speedily removed. I rate the convenience and the honesty of Alex and his firm very highly and would not hesitate to recommend him as a serious buyer of classic cars to my closest friends.”
“Thank you Alex and Team, you made my transaction smooth and effortless. The real Gem here is a man and company true to their word! That is Priceless and a true rarity!!! Thank You.”
“A person can’t help but be a tad bit skeptical that Alex will wire transfer payment and schedule shipping, keeping you the seller in the loop at all times. I cannot praise Alex and his staff enough on the ease and precision thru the process! Alex does exactly what he says. He will PROMPTLY wire transfer payment within hours. After you verify receipt of payment, simply overnight the title and bill of sale. He will arrange transport. Transport will contact you, and the driver will stay in contact with you while being polite and courteous. He will make the process EASY. Thank you Alex and crew for a seamless and clearly well-oiled system that is a testament to the value you place on the seller.”
“This was the smoothest, clean and satisfying transactions I have ever been involved. From the get go Alex and his team were very professional. The time to complete the transaction was especially quick with the monies wire transferred overnight, Bill of Sale and other documents couriered overnight, registration sent and vehicle picked up in less than 6 days. Awesome experience. Thanks Team Manos!”
“I had a old Ferrari that was taking up space in a small collection of Porsche’s. I hate being on the selling end of our hobby so I sent out a few email’s to see if there were any buyers that would give me a fair price for the old girl. I let Alex have the car because he was the only one that I spoke with that didn’t come across as a fast talking full of B.S. car salesman! I am retired but my time is still valuable and Alex didn’t waste any of it. He was straight to the point with a fair offer and that is how I like to do business. I would not hesitate for a moment to give him a call if you are like me and have a car (or collection) that is just in the way for whatever reason. Alex is a stand-up guy so give him a call. He will treat you with the utmost in respect and not give you a line of B.S.!!!!”
“I was very impressed by the the whole process of selling my Ferrari to you Alex. You are very fair and run a very smooth operation of picking up the car quickly without any worries on my part. You were also very true to your word regarding payment, pick up and transfer of title. You made the whole process very easy. It was truly a pleasure doing business with you. Thank you.”
“I have sold two cars to Alex and the Beverly Hills Car Club. Both transactions were effortless and completed with a minimum of fuss. All I has to do was FedEx the bill of sale and title after the sales money was in my account and the car was picked up within two days. Painless.”
