Buying or Selling a Dino 246 GT?
With the introduction of the Dino cars in 1967, Ferrari entered a new era of affordable exotic sports cars to compete with competitors like the Porsche 911 of the era. They were the first Ferraris to use the V-6 engine, which had been used only on racing cars until then.
Selling Your Ferrari?
Let’s Talk!
The 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT was a revised version of the first Dino car, the Ferrari Dino 206 GT. Although it shared the attractive Pininfarina-designed body of the first model, the Dino 246 GT replaced the 160 hp, 2.0L all-aluminum engine with the 175 hp, 2.4L FIAT Dino cast-iron V6 engine, in order to match the power of competitor models.
The second version of the affordable Dino sports cars to hit the road, the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is a 2-door, rear-wheel drive coupe that made its mark as one of the most affordable sports cars of the time. Produced from 1969 until 1974, only 2,295 of these entirely hand-built vehicles were made. Of these, 357 units belong to the Series I and were made until the summer of 1970, using the same center-bold wheels as the 206 GT. If you’re the current owner of one of those special edition, or any type of 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, the Alex Manos team is interested and will make you a top dollar offer should your car fit their collection. “Spoke with Alex about my baby (1990 Ferrari) he was just the very best. Counseled me on my car and value and within a day we had an agreement. The funds were transferred as agreed. The gentleman he sent to pick up the car was as gracious as Alex. Can’t say enough positive about Alex.”
“I contacted Alex yesterday and he promptly called me back. He asked me a few questions, asked for pictures and we negotiated a fair price. We made a deal and he followed through on everything. He sent a flatbed and picked up the car the next day with no glitches. This is the easiest transaction that I have ever had regarding selling a vehicle. Thank you Alex for all.”
“Alex and Roxana were very professional, prompt & helpful during this experience. All business including shipping was complete in 4 days. Can’t beat that. Thanks!”
“A very smooth and painless transaction. The check for the sale of the car was forthcoming expeditiously. Transport for the car arrived on time and was completed with no damage to the car. An enjoyable experience.”
“Alex, I found you to be straightforward, but also an interesting and friendly person to talk to. The funds were in my account the next day as promised. And, that was before you had even picked up my car. Your tow driver was extremely courteous, and a very likeable person. Keep doing what you’re doing. Your company has a great work ethic, with no “curve balls”!”
“Mr. Manos heard about my 76′ Ferrari 308-GTB Vetroresina through the vehicle’s custodian. He called me personally and offered me a very fair price for the car over the phone after having only seeing photos. I agreed, we transferred some info over the phone, and the next business day I had a cashiers check in my hand for the full amount. Roxana and Camille (Alex’s assistants) were angels in confirming the clearance of the check and logistics for transportation of the car. A custom 18-wheeler (with a Lambo and a Gull Wing MB inside already) came and picked up the car a few days later and the deal was consummated. I was comfortable with Alex because I knew he would take very good care of the classic. My mind is at rest.”
“From the first contact until the final deal was done, Alex was top-notch all the way! The transaction couldn’t have been smoother, communication was excellent, and Alex and his staff was extremely accommodating. Yes, I could have sold my car for a little more money through a private Party sale, but if you put a dollar amount on the aggravation, hassle, and time it takes to sell a car, then I feel my deal with Alex was worth it, 100%. If you’re selling a classic car you owe it to yourself to get in touch with Alex. Thanks again, guys!”
